Valuing Your Business” will be the topic of Dr. Ernie Goss at the Institute of Family Business seminar Wednesday, Sept. 3, at California State University, Fresno. The session will be from 4-6 p.m. in the Smittcamp Alumni House.
Goss is chair and professor of economics at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. He is an authority in business valuation and a frequent expert witness in court cases involving such issues. He will identify pitfalls and concerns in valuing the business in the event of a death, sale or going public, and will recommend actions to reduce potential avoidable and unnecessary expenses from taxes, lawsuits and probate.
