An educational forum on Proposition 1A, the $9.9 billion state bond measure to help build a high-speed rail line through the central San Joaquin Valley, will be presented from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at California State University, Fresno.

The forum will be held at the Peters Business Building, Room 103, and is open to the public.

Rep. Jim Costa, D-Fresno, and Assemblymember Juan Arambula, D-Fresno, will speak at the session, followed by a moderated question-answer session.

The event is sponsored by the Smittcamp Family Honors College and is organized by the California Public Interest Research Group.
