A food, supplies and clothing drive has been launched at California State University, Fresno to help the three students whose off-campus apartment was destroyed by fire Tuesday, Oct. 14.

A cash drive was begun earlier this week. Now, the Fresno State Parents Association, Student Recreation Center and University Student Union have joined to host the supplies donation drive.

Donations will be accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at:

  • University Student Union, Room 306
  • The Student Recreation Center (corner of Woodrow and Shaw avenues)
  • The Joyal Administration Building, Room 274.

The apartment occupants, Molly Kaiser, Lindsay Thomas and Theresa Warwick, lost schoolwork, furniture, clothing, computers and personal photos and papers in the blaze at Bulldog Village, west of campus on Cedar Avenue.

The students need basic kitchen items, bathroom and cleaning supplies, toiletries, non-perishable food items and school stationery supplies. Those donating clothing are encouraged to purchase women’s shirts size medium; pants sizes 5/6 long, 7-9, 12; women’s shoe size 10.
