The Women’s Alliance and the Women’s Resource Center at California State University, Fresno will present Take Back the Night on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Free Speech Area. The free event opens at 5:30 and the program runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

Take Back the Night is an international movement to raise awareness of domestic violence, sexual violence and violence toward children. It provides an opportunity to take a stand against violence and empower people to reclaim their communities.

The Fresno State event will feature music, speakers, information tables, a candlelight vigil, a march and an open mic portion to share feelings or survivor experiences.
