The Fresno Community Chorus will hold auditions for new singers, all voice parts, beginning in August at the Concert Hall in the Music Building at California State University, Fresno.
Interested individuals are invited to prepare a short piece to sing and to bring sheet music for the audition.
The chorus is under the direction of Dr. Anna Hamre, an associate professor of music at Fresno State.
The chorus’ winter 2009 concert repertoire consists of Requiem Mass in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the psalm setting Dixit Dominus by George Friederic Handel, to be performed at the new Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall on the Clovis North Educational Center campus.
