The annual Sierra Cup Classic — the largest band collaboration and performance on the West Coast – will bring 33 high school marching bands from throughout the state to California State University, Fresno’s Bulldog Stadium at noon Saturday, Nov. 7.

The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band hosts the event and will perform for the high school students and guests twice — at 6:20 and 9:15 p.m. The first high school band will play at 12:40 p.m.

Besides providing entertainment, the Sierra Cup Classic is an opportunity to recruit high school musicians for the Bulldog Marching Band, said Gary Gilroy, director of bands at Fresno State.

Tickets for the event are $8 for students, seniors and military and $12 for the general public. Parking is available free in Lot Q on Barstow Avenue east of Cedar Avenue on campus.
