The Orphan Bracelet provides support of employment and business skills training for women and financial assistance for small orphanages, carrying out the “humanity towards others” translation of “ubuntu” from southeast Africa’s Xhosa language. ,

This university’s two-day event is cosponsored by Alpha Zeta Epsilon, Black Students United, the Uprooting Racism Project and the Henry Madden Library Diversity Committee.
