National Engineers Week 2010 will be observed by the Lyles College of Engineering at California State University, Fresno with Engineers at the Mall on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20-21, at Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis.

The event will showcase the engineering and construction management professions and feature the work of students from the Lyles College from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Members of student organizations will demonstrate their projects and talk with community members.

Represented will be the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, Students in Construction, Engineers Without Borders, Surveyors & Geomatics Engineers and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Highlighted projects will include the ASCE concrete canoe and steel bridge, human-powered vehicle, Formula One car, unmanned aerial vehicle and robots.
