Fireworks purchases to celebrate Independence Day 2010 can help California State University, Fresno’s Bulldog Marching Band and the Bulldog Pantry.

The band is selling fireworks at booths in Clovis and Fresno through Sunday, July 4, to raise money for field supplies and equipment.

The Clovis stand is at the 7-Eleven parking lot at Clovis and Ashlan avenues, next to McDonald’s, and opened Wednesday, June 30. The Fresno booth, at Brawley and McKinley avenues, west of Highway 99, opens Thursday, July 1.

Bulldog Pantry is teaming up with Lutheran Campus Ministry and splitting proceeds.

Their fireworks stand is at Poladian’s Chiropractic, 488 W. Shaw Ave., (northwest corner of the intersection at Maroa Avenue). Maroa, northwest corner. It will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. through Friday, July 2, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. July 3 and 4.
