The California State University, Fresno campus will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, for the Labor Day holiday, but it will still be a busy weekend on campus including the season-opening home football game between the Bulldogs and Cincinnati of the Big East.
The Henry Madden Library will be open 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, and 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, but will be closed for the holiday on Sept. 6, reopening at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7.
The Gibson Farm Market at Barstow and Chestnut avenues will be selling student-produced foods throughout the weekend (9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday).
The University Police Department will be on duty to handle emergencies by calling 559.278.8400.
