Ag Alumni and Friends Wine Tasting is Oct. 29

The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and the Ag One Foundation will host its Alumni and Friends Wine Tasting at the Fresno State Winery on Friday, Oct. 29.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with an optional tour of the Fresno State farm laboratory. Wine tasting begins at 5:30 p.m. including hors d’oeuvres and a commemorative wine glass.

Fresno State winemakers have specially selected an exclusive barrel tasting of the 2008 Fresno State Syrah for this event. Student-produced farm market commodities will be paired with a variety of wines.

The cost is $40 per person though Oct. 22 and $45 after. Proceeds will benefit students and programs in the Jordan College. Reservations can be made online at www.agonefoundation.org.
