Offices to close for Winter Recess; Winter Session classes will meet

Offices at California State University, Fresno will close for Winter Recess at noon on Dec. 23 and reopen on Jan. 3.

Most students are on break until Jan. 19, but Winter Session classes will be held. Services provided by the Henry Madden Library, Kennel Bookstore, Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market, Student Recreation Center and University Student Union food court will be available to students, faculty and the community.

The University Police Department will respond to emergencies. Call 559.278.8400.

The Henry Madden Library, in order to support winter session classes, will offer basic library services during the break.  The library hours are:
Dec. 20-22: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Dec. 23: 8 a.m. – Noon
Dec. 27- Dec. 30: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Dec. 31- Jan.2: closed
Jan. 3- Jan. 16: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Kennel Bookstore will be open to last-minute shoppers during the winter recess and available for students taking winter session classes. Bookstore hours are:

Dec. 20-23: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Dec. 24- Jan. 3: closed
Jan. 3 –7: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Jan. 10-14: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

At the Gibson Farm Market (Chestnut and Barstow avenues), shoppers will find student-produced farm products and can donate to the Give a Gobbler Drive to supply turkeys to need families. The farm market will be closed Dec. 24- 26 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Regular farm market hours are:

Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
