Anti-gang advocates speak at March 28 forum

A panel of 10 anti-gang advocates will discuss effective advocacy of gang-prevention during a forum 3-5 p.m. Monday, March 28, at California State University, Fresno.

Among panelists will be officers from Fresno’s Multi Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium, members of the city’s gang task force and former gang members. The free, public event at the Satellite Student Union is sponsored by USU productions.

The panel discussion also will streamed online at www.livestream.com/vmpavr.

The public is encouraged to submit questions for the panelists via USU Productions’ Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/usuproductions), Twitter handler @fresnogangs, and email at fresnospeakingoutagainstgangs@yahoo.com.

Selected questions will included during the question-and-answer portion at the end of the conference.
