Amerasia Week will be celebrated at California State University, Fresno from March 1 to March 5 with nightly events showcasing the diversity of Asian culture at the university. Activities are sponsored by the Amerasia Organization, as a part of Asian Cultural Heritage Month.

The presentations are free and open to the community. Each event is from 7-9 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union, 2485 E. San Ramon Ave.

  • Ÿ Tuesday, March 1 – Dancing, singing and group performances.
  • Wednesday, March 2 – The Japanese Student Association will present performances in dance and lifestyle.
  • Thursday, March 3 – The Laotian Student Association will introduce and educate the community with performances and skits that portray traditional modern Laotian lifestyles.
  • Friday, March 4– The Hmong Student Association will stage skits, music and dancing
  • Saturday, March 5 – Various Asian student organizations jointly host a festival of dance and skits representing several cultures.
