The inaugural Bulldog Pantry Will Walk for Food fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Fresno State’s O’Neill Park, to help the student-run food bank continue providing free groceries to students and families in neighborhoods near the campus.
The walk is sponsored by Fresno State Dog Days and the Fresno State Alumni Association.
Registration requires at least a $20 pledge, which can be paid the day of the event. The registration form is available at www.bulldogpantry.wordpress.com/events/willwalkforfood.
The two-mile walk/five-mile run through campus will begin with a ceremony and end with a barbecue dinner, raffle and musical entertainment at O’Neill Park.
