Fresno State softball head coach Margie Wright is being singled out as one of the top 19 softball legends in a new a book entitled “Best of the Best – Women’s Fast Pitch Softball.” The 250-page book features legends of women’s fast pitch softball from the 1970s to present.
In determining the list, the authors scoured through individuals who were “difference makers” in the sport of softball: in college, ASA Women’s Major Fast Pitch, pro women’s league, college coaching and coaching internationally or on the Olympic level.
