The Craig School of Business received a $100,000 pledge from Fresno State alumnus Mark Shuster and his wife Daina. Shuster made the pledge in honor of his father, Max Shuster, who also graduated from Fresno State.

The Shuster’s gift will support the Craig School of Business Internship Program and the dean’s discretionary fund.

The award winning Craig School Internship Program provides students with internships for business or non-profit organizations. Students receive academic credit as well as a valuable learning experience.

“The generosity of Mark and Daina Shuster will help us in our mission to ensure that students are job-ready even before they graduate,” said Dr. Robert Harper, dean of the Craig School.

The Craig School of Business is named for Sid Craig, Fresno State alumnus and co-founder of Jenny Craig International. In 1992 Craig pledged $10 million to Fresno State’s School of Business and Administrative Sciences. Craig was a close friend of the Shuster family and mentor to Mark Shuster.

Mark Shuster is the founder and managing director of Shuster Financial Group, LLC (FSG). An active alumnus, Shuster is the chair-elect of Fresno State’s Business Advisory Council and is co-chair of the Fresno State Southern California committee. Mark and Daina Shuster live in Arcadia with their three children.
