The California State University, Fresno Department of Nursing will admit a new cohort of 30 students into its accelerated entry level master’s (ELM) nursing program in May.

The ELM program offers non-nurses the opportunity to become registered nurses and enter the nursing field with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

To be admitted to the program, individuals must possess a bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree in any field and have completed the required nursing prerequisite courses by the end of the spring semester.

Students will be able to take the registered nurse (RN) licensure examination and will graduate with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Nurse Educator in May 2015.
