Stanford, Duke, St. John’s and South Carolina have played their way into the Fresno Regional in the 2012 NCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball Championship, which tips off Saturday, March 24, at the Save Mart Center on the Fresno State campus.

The four survived first and second-round competition as the 64-team team was whittled down to 16, playing in four regionals.

In Fresno, the nationally televised Saturday matchups pit Stanford’s Cardinal against the South Carolina Gamecocks and St. John’s Red Storm vs. the Duke Blue Devils. Game times have not been set. The winners play Monday, March 26, also before a national TV audience.

The Fresno Regional champion becomes one of the Final Four teams in Denver the following weekend playing for the national title.

All-session tickets, with admission to all three games (two on March 24 and one on Monday, March 26), cost $50 per adult, $25 youths under age 18 and college students with ID and $40 each in groups of 10 or more. A $99 family plan ticket admits two adults and two youths to corner sections of the arena. Individual session tickets are available as well.
