U.S. Poet Laureate Philip Levine, an emeritus professor of English at Fresno State and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, will present his thoughts and read some the words he’s written at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the St. Paul Newman Center, 1572 E. Barstow Ave., just west of campus. The event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Fresno and the Tehipite Chapter of the Sierra Club to raise money for environmental litigation. Tickets at the door: $20 general; $5 students.
