May 4 is Dr. Rodney Anderson Day at Fresno State’s Beiden Field when the late political science lecturer will be remembered at the Bulldogs’ 6 p.m. baseball game. Dr. Anderson’s father and brother will be there to throw out the first pitch and present two seats from Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb., former home of the NCAA Division I College World Series won by Fresno State in 2008. Dr. Anderson, who died March 6, attended that event and was an avid Fresno State baseball fan. One dollar of every ticket sale at the game will benefit to the Dr. Rodney Anderson Memorial Scholarship. Donations to the fund may be sent to the College of Social Sciences, 5340 N. Campus Drive M/S SS91, Fresno, CA 93740-8019. MORE INFO: Full Story.
