World travelers can apply for passports and passport cards at Fresno State’s new Passport Place, one of six such places in the Fresno area and joining California State University, Long Beach among CSU campuses. The Passport Place is open 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Kremen Education Building, Room 130. It is designated by the U.S.

Department of State as a passport acceptance facility. The passport program was advanced in support of a target goal set by Fresno State’s Strategic Plan for Excellence IV to increase the university’s international presence and international student enrollment to promote better global citizenship.

”Our unique partnership with the Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs will allow us to better meet the rigors of this goal and promote the internationalization of our campus,” said Russel Statham, of the Division of Continuing and Global Education.

The new operation also will provide additional revenue to support study-abroad and international exchange opportunities for students, faculty and staff, said Statham.

The Passport Place does not offer photo services, you will need to provide your one passport photo.
