Fresno State is in “Dead Days” – no classes in session – today and tomorrow (May 10 and 11) as students prepare for final exams next week. Commencement activities wrap up the spring semester May 18 and 19. Several campus groups and at least one off-campus business are teaming up to help students get through the stress of it all with Finals Cram Jam May14-17.  Free coffee, fresh fruit, Scantrons and pencils will be available 8-10 a.m. at the Free Speech Area Platform as well as tutoring of certain subjects. A “Stress Free Zone” will be available in the USU Lounge 7-11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and free food is available at 9 p.m. …while supplies last of course.  The University Student Union will be open during finals week until 2 a.m. Co-sponsors are the Division of Student Affairs,  USU Productions and Board of Directors, University Health and Psychological Services, University Courtyard, Student Involvement Center, Associated Students, Inc., the Learning Center, the Parents Association and First Quality Produce of Fresno.
