Five Fresno State nursing students will travel to Panama and Costa Rica this summer to lend their skills and time to patients in need of medical services. Rachel Olsten of Coarsegold, Carolina Adame of Fresno, Christine Gomez of Selma, Kathleen Farrell of Modesto and Elizabeth Pimentel of Hanford will travel June 7-22 with International Service Learning, an organization dedicated to providing medical and educational volunteers to under-served populations in Central and South America, Mexico and Africa.
