Fresno State student body president Arthur Montejano completes the weeklong Panetta Institute for Public Policy Leadership Seminar at California State University, Monterrey Bay in Seaside with a presentation about his experiences Saturday, June 23. The seminar began Sunday and is providing college student leaders from throughout the state the opportunity to improve their leadership skills through workshops by industry professionals as well as through special sessions in public speaking and conflict resolution. Montejano, a kinesiology graduate student from Atwater, is among 28 student leaders from the CSU system, Dominican University of California and Santa Clara University attending the conference. They will give a presentation on their personal perception of leadership and how they plan to apply the lessons they have learned to their academic, professional and political objectives beginning at 3:15 p.m. in building 86-E.
