Professor, alum among Fresno Arts Council award winners

Dr. Thomas Loewenheim, a Fresno State music professor, will be recognized with the Ella Odorfer Educator Award at the Fresno Arts Council’s 27^th Annual 2012 Horizon Awards at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15. The event at the Fresno City Council Chambers (2600 Fresno St.) will honor seven people for contributions to the arts, including Fresno State alumna Chris Hays, the Business Award recipient establishing The Door art gallery.
