Fresno State’s CineCulture program and Fresno Filmworks partner for weekend screenings at the Tower Theatre (815 E. Olive Ave.) in central Fresno. “Chicken with Plums,” is screened 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14. The live-action adaptation of the graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi tells the story of one of Iran’s the most renowned musicians, Nasser-Ali Khan; Tickets are $10 general admission and $8 for students/seniors.
