Steers, lambs and meat goats raised with the help of university students will be for available for purchase at Fresno State’s 17th Annual Red Wave Classic Prospect Sale 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5.
The event begins with a preview of the animals at the Fresno State Animal Science pavilion (Maple and Chestnut Avenues east of O’Neill Park), followed by lunch. The lamb sale will begin at noon followed by the goats. The event will conclude with the steer sale at 1 p.m.
The prospect sale is presented by the Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education in Fresno State’s Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and sponsored by Farmer’s Best Feeds.
