The Provost’s Awards Lecture Series at Fresno State resumes with its spring line-up noon-1 p.m. Feb. 13 when Spanish professor Dr. Saul Jimenez-Sandoval  speaks in the Henry Madden Library (second floor, room 2206). Jimenez-Sandoval received a 2011-12 Provost Award for graduate teaching and mentoring. His lecture, “Memory, Presence, and Self-Discovery: Hénri Bergson and the Aesthetics of an MA Thesis” is a free event open to Fresno State faculty and staff. The series honors and showcases each year’s recipients of the Provost’s Award. Dr. William Covino, provost, said “another goal of this series is to raise the level of academic and intellectual discourse among our colleagues.” The next lecture will be April 10.
