Fresno State will celebrate the Cesar Chávez Day of Service with a garlanding ceremony 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Peace Garden, north of the Henry Madden Library on campus. The tenth annual César Chávez Education Conference was held March 8-9 and more than 300 educators, students and community leaders examined literacy reform and teaching English as a second language.
