Fresno State’s CineCulture program and Fresno Filmworks partner to screen “Caesar Must Die,” at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, at the Tower Theatre (815 E. Olive Ave.) in Fresno. The Italian drama follows a group of real-life convicts as they rehearse for a performance of Shakespeare’s tragedy Julius Caesar. Fresno State Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures professors Laurel Hendrix (Renaissance and late medieval literature, including Shakespeare) and Howard Hendrix (literature and writing) will lead a discussion after the first screening only.
