Fresno State’s Geosciences METRO Center will hold an open house with student presentations 4-5:30 p.m. March 19 in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business Bldg., Room 191). Students will discuss their research in areas such as environmental science, geology and atmospheric sciences. The event will offer refreshments and the opportunity to meet Geosciences METRO students, faculty and board members. METRO, which stands for mentoring, education, teaching, research and outreach, provides students with financial support while they pursue research and career development opportunities.
