Dr. Stephen Rodemeyer, Fresno State chemistry professor emeritus, will lecture 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 27, in the Science 2 Building, Room 109 (San Ramon Avenue, just east of Maple Avenue) as part of Fresno State’s Earth Day observance. The event, presented by the Fresno State Chemistry Club, will include announcement of the Chemists Celebrate Earth Day poetry contest winners and recognize students who participated in the Chemistry Olympiad. Rodemeyer, who is the former director of the Smittcamp Family Honors College, will speak on, “Moveable Feasts: Incredible Journeys of the Foods We Eat.” The lecture is co-sponsored by the local chapter of the American Chemical Society.
