Dr. Laura Meyer, a Fresno State art professor, will present a lecture on, “Honoré Daumier and the Making of Modern France,” 7:30 p.m. May 9  in the Bonner Auditorium in the Fresno Art Museum (2233 N 1st St). The lecture is presented by L’Alliance Française de Fresno and The Fresno Art Museum. The event, which is open to the public, will address the life of French graphic artist and painter, Honoré Daumier and his role in the making of modern France. The lecture follows L’Alliance Française de Fresno’s Scholarship presentation that begins at 6 pm.
