Fresno State alumnus and campus administrator Dr. Kent Karsevar’s dissertation was singled out by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) as exemplary. “Fundraising Practices of the University of California, the California State University, and California Private Universities” was selected as the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of the 2013 CASE John Grenzebach Award for Outstanding Research in Philanthropy for Educational Advancement. Karsevar is a Senior Director of Development at Fresno State. He earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the university in 2012.
