The Delta Water Summit from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Satellite Student Union at Fresno State will address Bay-Delta estuary water, infrastructure and environmental issues. The event’s major partners are the California Latino Water Coalition, KMPH-TV26, Univision21, The Fresno Bee and Fresno State. The event has several co-sponsors including Fresno State’s College of Social Sciences and Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Top water leaders from around California and the nation are scheduled to participate in panels with audience involvement. Fresno State President Joseph Castro will welcome the participants at 9 a.m. It is free and open to the public. Parking near the SSU (2485 E. San Ramon) will be free except in handicap and red zones.
