Jeff Macon was appointed interim director of Fresno State’s Small Business Development Center, a job creation and retention program that provides entrepreneurs and small businesses with services to build successful, sustainable businesses. Macon’s 18-year career includes management positions with Decipher, Inc., Target Corporation and companies in Taiwan.  Macon is program manager of Technology Commercialization for the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and will retain that position while a search is under way for a permanent SBDC director, said Debbie Adishian-Astone, associate vice president for Auxiliary Operations. She expects the position to be permanently filled by December. The federally funded program is administered through the UC Merced SBDC Regional Network.
