Fresno State students will volunteer at three locations, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22 for the Spring into Service event, formerly known as Spring Green. Presented by Fresno State’s SERVE Committee, a student leadership team through the Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning, the project provides volunteers planting and beautification projects at Woodward Park with Fresno PARCs; revitalization projects such as repainting basketball courts, renovating restrooms and painting a mural involving the residents as well as food distribution at El Dorado Park (1343 E Barstow Ave.) with ASI student leaders; and planting trees and shrubs on the Fresno State campus.
