Fresno State CineCulture will present a screening of the film “Bidder 70,” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 21 in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peter’s Educational Center (Shaw and Woodrow Aves.). The 73-minute film follows a University of Utah student who derailed an illegal Bureau of Land Management oil and gas auction in 2008. Directors of the film, Beth & George Gage, will be the discussants for the evening. Co-sponsors for the screening include Peace Fresno, Sierra Club-Tehipite Chapter and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. The event is free and open to the public.
