United Farm Workers co-founder Dolores Huerta will speak at two events at Fresno State today (March 21). The first is 9 a.m. in the Engineering West Building, Room 110 with Covered California Executive Director Peter V. Lee to lead a classroom discussion about Covered California, the state’s marketplace for the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. They will speak in a Sociology course, “Diversity in the United States.” Huerta’s second appearance is at the Latina Leadership Conference from noon-4 p.m. in Kremen Education Building, room 140 as part of the university’s Women’s Herstory Month observance.
