Students to get a TASTE of journalism and art careers April 29

 

Fresno State mass communication and journalism and graphic design students will pair with professionals for a day of shadowing, mentoring and networking for the Take a Student to Eat (TASTE) project from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 29. A networking luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pardini’s Banquet Hall (2257 W. Shaw Ave.) will feature advertising students presenting their National Student Advertising Mary Kay Cosmetics campaign. Dr. Roberta Asahina, advertising professor, will be honored for her 30-year career in teaching the advertising campaign students who will present. TASTE is co-sponsored by the Fresno Advertising Federation, Fresno State’s Mass Communication and Journalism Department and the MCJ Alumni and Friends Chapter.
