The first of three new campus entryway signage projects at Fresno State will be completed today. The final sign at the Maple and Shaw campus entrance will be installed May 2 at approximately 9-9:30 a.m. Crews will put in place a 26.5 foot tall sculptural element called the sprout. It is made of perforated metal and wood panels. The gateway signs at the Cedar and Shaw and Cedar and Barstow entrances will be installed later this summer. The new signs are part of a comprehensive wayfinding program that includes new vehicle directional signage, parking lot signage and pedestrian signage in the campus core. Designed by Linespace of Los Angeles, the signs are manufactured by A-Plus Signs of Fresno and funded in part through a $10 million gift from Table Mountain Rancheria that also helped support the redesigned Madden Library.  INFO: Thomas Gaffery, 559.278.2950or tgaffery@csufresno.edu.
