Dr. Alex Espinoza, interim chair of the Chicano and Latin American Studies Department and associate professor of English, was named to the Cal Humanities board of directors May 1. Formerly known as the California Council for the Humanities, Cal Humanities is the state’s only independent, non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
