Welcome Week activities at Fresno State — FresWoW — begin Wednesday, Aug. 20 with an opening event from 3-7 p.m. to give students a chance to complete last minute tasks before classes begin Aug. 21 for the fall semester. A free barbecue with live music will highlight the event outside of the Joyal Administration building (west side), where  students can purchase parking pass permits, print course schedules, participate in classroom tours, take photos for new ID cards, visit the financial aid office, pick up free planners and purchase football tickets. A free shuttle service will be available for students living at nearby off-campus residences: Copper Beach Townhomes, Palazzo at Campus Pointe, Castle Rock Apartments, University Village and Bulldog Village. For students driving to campus, complimentary parking permits are available between noon-8 p.m. at any permit dispenser with the use of a coupon code: 621501.
