A presentation detailing the retail development of The Square at Campus Pointe will kick off the fall Gazarian Real Estate Center speaker series at Fresno State will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. The registration deadline is Aug. 25.
Tracy Kashian, vice-president of marketing at Lance-Kashian & Co., and Nick Kazarian, assistant to the CEO at Lance-Kashian & Co., will keynote the event with a presentation on “The Square at Campus Pointe — Anatomy of a Retail Development.”
Construction began in February on The Square at Campus Pointe, the first phase of the retail part of the Campus Pointe project. The project is the largest mixed-use public-private partnership in the California State University system with $250 million expected to be invested by the private sector once the project is complete.
The free public event will be at the University Business Center, with lunch provided for the first 44 registrants. Registration is required.

- Oct. 17, 8 a.m.: 2014 Housing Market Symposium — economist Selma Hepp
- Nov. 12, 11:30 a.m.: Gazarian Speaker Series – to be announced
Funded through the support of Dr. Arnold and Mrs. Dianne Gazarian, the Gazarian Real Estate Center promotes communication and provides information on real estate markets and the Craig School of Business Real Estate program to the community, students and faculty of the Craig School of Business and Fresno State.
