Women’s Association honors faculty and staff

The California State University, Fresno Women’s Association presented its first Outstanding Leaders Awards, Sept. 5. Dr. Ida Jones from the Craig School of Business received the Outstanding Leader Award for faculty, and Tosha Giuffrida of the Learning Center won the Outstanding Leader Award for staff. “It is inspirational to learn of the magnificent accomplishments of both Ida and Tosha,” said Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson, vice president for administration and co-sponsor of Fresno State’s Women’s Campus Connection, which jointly hosted the Outstanding Leader Award presentation. “They both live their lives with a commitment to leadership and helping others to be successful in their academic and career journeys.” The award comes with $500, furnished by members of the Women’s Association.
