A select group of 10 Fresno State Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement students honed their leadership skills at the invitation-only 11th annual MESA Student Leadership Conference for math-based majors, Oct. 31-Nov. 1 in San Diego. The conference featured more than 27 universities and community colleges statewide. Administered by the Lyles College of Engineering, the Fresno State MESA program’s participants were sponsored by Pacific Gas & Electric Company whose employees volunteered time to work with students during the conference.
