Fresno State begins its observance of African Peoples History Month with opening ceremonies from noon-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 on the Free Speech Area platform and culminates with a talk by Rev. Jeremiah Wright March 2. The Black Agitprop Art Exhibit in the Pete P. Peters Balcony Ellipse of the Henry Madden Library, (second floor, north wing), also opens Feb. 2 and runs through Feb. 27. The exhibit will showcase Americana visual history via African-American cultural and political art. Details of the month’s events will be announced at the opening ceremony.
