Café Scientifique begins new podcast ‘Science: Candle in the Dark’ Feb. 24

“Science: Candle In The Dark,” a new monthly program with the Central Valley Café Scientifique that focuses on scientific conversation, will air its first show at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 on 88.1 FM KFCF, Fresno’s Pacifica-affiliated community radio station. Dr. Madhusudan Katti, Fresno State biology professor, hosts and today will interview Doug Singleton, a Fresno State physics professor, on “What We Know about the Structure of Matter.” A brief news segment will cover recent discoveries or issues in science and a short essay/op-ed segment authored by listeners will be read.
