Campus closes for Chávez holiday March 31; spring break under way

The Fresno State campus will be closed Tuesday, March 31 for the statewide observance of the César Chávez Day of Service and Learning. Also this week, classes are not in session for spring break. Offices will be open today and Wednesday through Friday. Classes resume April 6. The Henry Madden Library is open this week 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but closed Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. The Gibson Farm Market is also closed Tuesday but open all week (for market hours: 559.278.4511). The campus celebrated the Chavez observance last week. The Chavez Conference for Literacy and Educational Policy will be May 1 and 2 on campus and an art exhibit is on display in the library through April 3.
